This policy explains what information Recouply, Inc. ("Recouply," "we," "us") collects when you use recouply.io or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are based in Springfield, Missouri.
When you request a quote, join our buyer list, or contact us, we collect what you submit. That typically includes:
Please do not upload files containing consumer personal information, payment card numbers, or other sensitive data. We ask only for inventory data.
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and to understand traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
We do not respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no common standard for them.
We use automated software, including artificial intelligence models, to produce the rough price estimates our instant quote tool returns. To do that, the inventory details you submit — product identifiers, quantities, condition, descriptions, and uploaded manifests — are processed by our systems and by third-party AI and market-data providers acting on our behalf.
These estimates are not final and are not a formal offer. A human reviews your submission before any purchase agreement is sent. No decision with a legal or similarly significant effect on you is made solely by automated means.
Calls to our phone number may be answered by an automated AI receptionist, which collects your name, number, and the reason for your call in order to route you. Those calls may be recorded or transcribed and are handled by our telephony and AI service providers under obligations to protect the information.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
We do not share your identity or your brand with buyers as part of a resale listing unless you ask us to. See our brand protection commitment in the Terms of Service.
If you give us your phone number when you submit a quote request, you consent to receive text messages from us at that number. That includes an automated confirmation that we received your request, status updates while we review it, and the offer when it is ready.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of doing business with us — tell us and we will correspond only by email. Opting out of texts does not stop transactional email about an active transaction. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
We keep quote submissions for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up and internal analysis. Transaction records are kept as long as required by tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. We delete or anonymize information when we no longer need it.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing, by emailing hello@recouply.io. We will respond within a reasonable period. Some information must be retained for legal or accounting reasons even after a deletion request.
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
This site is for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, note the update on this page.
